Alas Laval Plate Heat Exchanger are up to 5 times more efficient than Shell and Tube designs with approach temperatures as close as 1°F. The units are easily expandable, require 1/10 of the floor space and is less than 1/6 of the weight.
The gasketed plate heat exchanger consists of a series of thin, corrugated alloy plates which are gasketed and compressed together in a carbon steel frame to create ad arrangement of parallel flow channels
The CB or copper brazed plate heat exchangers feature efficient heat transfer with an extremely small footprint ideal for installations where space is at a premium. The CB units are perfect for small packaged applications.
